Hehe, I'm not surprised, as I seem to be the only one who liked that match. I found it really tense and full of action. And those hollanders really just couldn't score a goal. It was so fun to watch them try and try again and again. Very admirable and skillful effort from Costa Ricans and that's what I loved about it. It wasn't that they waited for the penalties from the start - it was that they just couldn't control the ball and always lost it too quickly to really be able to make an attack. Only over a half into the match you could say they were just waiting for penalties, I think. Though even then, near the very end of the additional time they started attacking themselves, and that may be so cause hollanders didn't try as hard themselves anymore, tired and worn out by their futile attempts to hit a goal in Costa Rica's gate, so maybe they never gave up on that ambition. So yeah. I liked that eternal struggle and neither side really winning it. :D Props to greeks for being the only ones to score a real goal in Costa Rica's gates in this tournament.
Brazil's match tho.... shiit. Wasn't rooting for either side specifically, but this was just messed up. Poor brazilians. Looked like the brazilian captain was holding back some tears from the camera.

What a spanking. I missed two of the goals because they were flying so fast. At 35mins I stopped bothering as it was clear it was going to be bonkers.
