I like France more than the UK. I've never understood patriotism.

France should be really interesting & fun to watch this year. Although young and inexperienced, they are good and there's been this magical aura surrounding them during the last matches so that everyone, supporters included, is in high spirits right now. People acknowledge that a fresh, more laid-back and unpretentious team is exactly what we needed and, for once, the French are not expecting to win the world cup (lol). I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself faetal.

And fuck England as usual, but this time I'd be very happy if we could kick Germany's ass at some point. A man can dream.

I like Spain better than the UK and whilst I don't understand rabid patriotism I get tribalism.

Truth be told, I don't care who wins. England is just a country - I was born there by chance. I'll cheer for France because I'm going to be able to soak up the vibe of surrounding French people doing the same. I share no tribal commonality with English football fans.

LOL,that was fun! Never expected this result. First half Spain was clearly better, although that penalty was questionable.

And that second half performance by Holland - wow! Was it the rain that messed up Spain's tactics or were Holland simply that good? I'm not the biggest fan of Spain (to put it nicely) so I hope that the rain clouds follow them wherever they go. :p Please don't let me down now Chile and Australia!
