Wow. Spain going out after just two games certainly was unexpected, but they sure deserved it. I'm pleased, but in a way I wanted them to go out in a more dramatic way at some later stage. The way how it happened in the end was just a bit anti-climatic, the Spaniards didn't put up any kind of a fight at all, it almost seemed like they didn't even care.
Oh well. I guess that the tika-taka era has now officially ended. And I for one am not going to miss it. :cool:

I sure as hell didn't want spaniards to win again (never wanted them to, actually), but here I almost feel a little sorry for them to fly out in such a sad, dead way.
Is there something you know about them that I don't, Tomi, or do you hate on them for the sake of hating on them cause you don't like the way they look? I was mostly annoyed at them for beating Netherlands in the finale in such a dull way, but that's about it.
So, who's gonna play on the finale? Place yer bets. I think Germany should be one of the finalists. Netherlands, Brasil could be on the other end. Who else was good... France... Costa Rico. Actually a finale with Costa Rico would be awesome, especially if they won, lol. Oh, and Chile. But I didn't watch them much.

I agree. But it has also been pretty awesome so far! So many goals (more than 3 goals per match right now I believe?) and some exciting games, I hope that it won't change even when the "important" games begin.

They showed it at least 5 times in slo-mo and I still can't see where the Croatian provoked Song. :confused:

I don't really
hate them, there are no teams that I truly hate, I just really don't want to see Spain win again. People have been going on and on about their "sexy tika-taka football" for the last six years, and while it has obviously been a very effective tactic for Spain, I find it pretty much the opposite of sexy - it's dull and boring and most of all quite disappointing because they've got some super talented players who could actually play some nice entertaining football. On top of that, they've got some of the most obnoxious players in the world of football. Busquets, Iniesta, Fabregas and Ramos for example would all quite easily fit in my most disliked XI.
