I have always felt that the Unreal Tournament 2004 engine was not used very well. Most of the content in the original game looks bland and uninspiring when compared to the original Unreal game. There is one fan-made outdoor ctf map that looks REALLY good though. It is called ctf-avali-2k4. Giant waterfalls, reflective water, individual blades of grass, etc make it stand out.

Already mentioned, but I just played through TRON 2.0 for the first time about a week ago. Yeah, it only took me seven years to get around to it. Due to the decision to stick to the style of the movie, it does still look great, in the sense that it looks exactly like you'd expect a TRON game to look. About the only thing that could use improvement is the shimmery first-generation bloom effect.
However, there's a bizarre disparity in the character models. The character faces in the computer world look nearly photorealistic (well, by 2003 standards), while the characters in the real world look like grotesque NOLF rejects.

Yeah, the real-world parts have the same cartoony art style as NOLF2 for some reason.

Hey, nice! Glad you got around to it. I agree wholeheartedly with the 1st-gen Bloom comment, though that was more a fault of the times than the game. Everyone was abusing that crappy effect.
Oh, and lol to your models/faces comment. I forgot how strange they were until you mentioned it. It has been 5 years since I played the PC and 3/12 since the terrible Xbox port.
