1 doesn't have dithering, that's why its dark areas always looked bad compared to Thief 2's (Though DDFix makes it a moot point.)

Someone mentioned Isometric stuff... I still like to load up the Crusader games from time to time and fart around. Ultima VII engine with robots and explosions, yay.

That's the Ultima VIII engine, but yeah. Crusader wasn't about the explosions and robots though, it was about the various creative methods of dispatching your enemies available to you. And what methods they were, oh my.

I reinstalled Thief Gold and TMA the other day after not touching them for a couple of years and (after doing some catchup reading around here) was genuinely amazed by how good they look with DDFix, the Enhancement Pack, the widescreen fix etc stuck on top.
Perhaps I'd automatically lowered my expectations in advance based on their age but it was a very pleasant surprise to see a pair of really rather elderly games looking so good; the effort of the people who develop these additions is very much appreciated! :thumb:

Since we are talking Thief 2. There will be released very soon, a stellar killer OMFG this is not Thief 2 FM coming out, its in the final testing stages. It does not look like Thief 2, its stunning and gorgeous! Get ready...
