A good review that might induce you to buy the new Three DVD packs of the game.

If you do buy the new collection you will know why us old farts were not as impressed with TDS as you first time thieves.

A bit off topic, but I just realized Deadly Shadows came out in 2004. Meaning a lot of those "newbies" who were introduced to the series with Thief 3 may have been playing the series now for 6 years.

If you look at the Thiaf forum you'll see that a lot of newbies come and ask if the 4th installment will be as good as the 3rd. I think this belongs on one of those forums. I myself started with TDS and then played the other 2 games and fell in love with TMA. But in the view of the elders people who started with TDS may seem as newbies.

Unfortunately TDS is a merely weak 5 with short funny moments game. But the decisions aren't based solely on the will of the demos. But I do agree that making the TDS children play the other games is a good idea. A short sighted mind can never be good.

Perhaps. But sometimes, some TDS fans make me feel like I am talking to a brick wall. It's just uncomfortable.

That sort of player quality racism isnt's exactly the embodiment of civilisation either. But I was wondering where the TDS threads stayed for so many weeks. :p
