The installation music is a fairly minimal 31 second instrumental loop. I rather doubt that Bowie had anything to do with it (although it's feasible it was extracted or appropriated from a longer piece of music).
If you kick off the installer and look in the temporary directory it creates, you'll find it as "install.wav".

Considering that GOG releases always have custom installers, it wouldn't solve the OP's dilemma in the slightest.
