I believe he was being sarcastic, however the internet is not always best at portraying sarcasm.
I actually find this thread quite interesting and all the research BR796164 put into it. It really was a good read, but I think you might be looking a little too much into it. Zombies reborn from an insane asylum always do the creepy head jerk thing. And I believe Null got the idea for them to do that from a movie where the people are stuck in an abandoned insane asylum.

I was vaguely following this thread up to this point, and went back into the cradle to look over the puppets again. So it served to spark some play time:thumb:
As regards the last comment... I wholeheartedly agree. I believe you might be thinking of the remake of "House on Haunted Hill", perhaps? I know that the cradle reminded me vividly of it the first time I played it. Particularly the atmosphere of the basement in the movie. Flickering electric lights, weird extremely quick apparitions, remnants of past fairly disturbing "psychological" "remedies"...
How about the coincidence of the end of the movie being people escaping through a window at the top of the place? They certainly could have chosen something worse for inspiration, but not much better Imho.
On the actual discussion taking place here, I am entirely neutral, just curiously following it.
