Tonight, there's a big windstorm going on and rather than worrying about the potential damage it could do, I decided to go outside in the midst of it and hold my mic up to the sky like Benjamin Franklin. That was a very fun experience for me.
Deep inside my mind, I was doing this: :joke:

Hope you used a wind filter on the mic. A sock will work in a pinch. Just beware of jokes like, "your audio stinks" .

My mic comes with its own wind filter. :) I also shielded it from the wind using my robe.

Shades of Turner there also. I've been enamoured with the work of Foley artists since boyhood. I love "Behind the Scenes" folk, the unsung heroes that shape popular entertainment. I used to work in Animation many moons ago, always loved the Foley guys, you are completely mental of course, that goes without saying!:cheeky: Being battered with storms over here too, hope you got some good soundscapes!

I sure did. :) I use foley sounds in game projects, and I even sell them as libraries online. (today was my best day, ever!)

Not only up there, Ryan. Here, in northwestern Spain, we've been under severe conditions since the 24th of December. Last night the wind over 102 mph. And in the last 62 days, only 1 day without rain. It's the seventh gale or whatever they call it now since new year.

Seventh Gale sounds like a really good title for a PC game.
But that weather sounds like something the UK is blessed to not have (usually).
