Hi Guys,
I saw what this community can do since I tried a few fan missions and I was wondering if the matter of creating an open Thiefy game was ever approched by this community.

By Open Thiefy, I just meant a game that would be Thief-like and open.
Okay, now I see there is this Dark Mod, but the thing I'm looking for now is if Doom 3 is an open thing or not and if I'll have to buy Doom 3, which I believe is a commercial game, to run the Dark Mod.
This Dark Mod really seems a-ma-zing! It's worth buying Doom 3 to run it.

Fear not, my friend. Not only is the Dark Mod very real, but is also very hiring!
They are in fact quite friendly about welcoming new members to the team. I wonder if maybe you had some abilities you were bringing to the table?

Doom3 is commercial now, but Id Software has a habit of open-sourcing their games after some time has passed.
