The usual bursts of activity - It is hard sometimes to accumulate the energy needed to work on this project. With Physics awaiting to be written it is somehow understandable ;)

But of course, you implied (or said) it yourself: The physics system in Dark was rather unique to that engine. It'll require a daunting amount of work before you have a finished product.
Also, and maybe I'm just being ridiculous, is there such a way to implement the graphics part of the opendarkengine onto any of the dark games that already have the rest of the code? Dunno, just curious as to whether this has been done b4.

Albert: Everything is possible if you are cool enough hacker. Do you remember that almost all PC games has so named trainers? Those little programs are especially written to intervene into the gameplay process. Something like this was already created by SunBeam, but in this case everything, IMHO, is much more harder.

Ackpth, but I digress. I'm just a tiny mouse trying to pull the needle out of the lions paw. No need to say anything if you know better. Just go with the flow.

'Tis the season to be jolly! :D
How has it been going with OPDE so far? Is there any little details you'd like to share with us? Any small problem is in our my best interest! ;)
(P.S. Yes, I know it's only been a week or so since we last had an update, it's just I'm curious)
Also, is anybody having any holiday breaks on the (Cough!) OPDE team? (Cough!)

A new years comin' up!
An update was made just a little over a week ago. Inch by inch, I always say (humor me...)
But I must say, I recall an article you pointed out to me, Volca, which defined a certain physics element in the Dark Engine which allows objects to be "thrown" convincingly and give it that "reposition" effect, that some objects like boxes will have.
A certain Wiki article, or is it on the OPDE Wiki, I wonder...
(Brain explodes)

Good to see this is still being worked on...
Volca you know where I am if you need any more testing done..

I can be a guinea pig, too, Volca! It's about time I could see that my computer is up to the challenge. That Ubuntu was up to the challenge.
And that an Intel chip was up to the challenge. And that my computers are all crud.

Hmm, I was wondering about the stars in the sky. I knew they weren't correct, but I never thought someone would be crazy enough to create star field textures that are correct.
