Whoa, I just want to laud you for sticking with it for upwards of 5 years! I'm pretty sure I was around in 2005, and I don't remember seeing this thread before :eek: Good work keeping those pessimistic taffers at bay ;) This gives me encouragement for the ICO gameworld conversion I'm starting myself :cheeky:

Okay people, I am starting to work on this again. Please don't expect any miracles soon, as usual, I am biting my way through the physics, a lot is to be discovered and mapped yet. I have some pending changes to input handling, initial and hollow implementation of player and camera handling and other things which I'll probably commit soon, everything has to click in together yet (Camera+Player+Physics) - a LONG way to go. Phew :)

i've build opde from svn source code (latest revision) and when i try run the game it hangs my entire computer on "Loading resources please wait" (only reboot helps) :confused:

Didn't forget about you :) In fact I remembered I already, maybe, resolved this bug some time ago, but didn't find time to commit (a lot of changes like this on my drive in fact - among other things migration to ogre 1.7...). Gimme a few days, I'm finishing bug hunting and will be trying to fix win32 compilation as well (since I'm expecting to find some problems there again).

Okay, I found time to at least push the pending changes to SVN, now the fixing will follow - for some reason I get "double free corruption" past main here on Arch Linux, but not on Debian :confused: Maybe freeimage is broken on arch :erg:
Expect more work in the upcoming days - as I find time to do work on this. I have some more changes on my second machine (mostly PHYS_SYSTEM object flags mapping, nothing big in terms of code changes)
