Optimizing Thief 1 & 2

I searched and searched until I was blue :( in the face both here and on google and I could not find a single place where all the upgrades (textures, sounds, objects, vid cards) for the original 2 thief games are in a central location.

So... what does the community recommend I install to update the look and feel of the first two thief games.
I found some but want to be sure I have everything. I don't care if I get flamed as long as I have an answer.

I'm running windows xp on a laptop with an nVidia 7600 card btw.

It contains pretty much every updated resource, to date, for both original Thief games.

thanks, I was under the impression this didn't update textures because I didn't notice much change on running interference.

There really won't be that much of a difference. I haven't had the time to check it out for myself, but I get the impression that the textures are just hi-res, sort of like the SHTUP pack for System Shock 2. The content doesn't change, just the quality.

The EP updates objects only, and mostly Thief 1 objects at that.

then my first assertion was correct that this was not the solution. I dled that texture pack I saw on here (page 1) but is there other stuff like this?
