EA Downloader = EA Link = EADM = Origin
All same shit, they're only changing names.
On the giggly side, BF3 is exclusive to Origin and won't be on Steam :cheeky:

Ugh. That's a slap in the face to the once-mighty name of Origin. Although it's only a name, it's a name that's going to remind me that they're gone every single time I see it used in this new distribution context. The bastards are messing with my memories.

Origin is one of very few companies whose name still makes me nostalgic about the Good Old Times: Ultima, Wing Commander, System Shock... I can't think of a single other name that has that exact effect on me. Looking Glass comes close, but "Origin - We Create Worlds" has a special magic.

Yeah the first thing I thought when I heard this was "Origin? Wow, that's ironic".

In case you haven't read this before, the (

Bullfrog is of equal nostalgia value for me. Populous, Dungeon Keeper, XCOM, Syndicate + many more great great games. Very outside the square type games for their time.

Populous was (and still is!) amazingly fun. I should grab my SNES out of storage soon and revisit it.
Koki on 14/6/2011 at 15:50
Yeah, play the first PC god game ever on your silly console.
gunsmoke on 14/6/2011 at 15:51
I will. Thanks for your permission!
