Could someone please provide actual confirmation if their EA Store/EADM licenses have been carried over? Not just assumptions.
Thanks.

Bullfrog is of equal nostalgia value for me. Populous, Dungeon Keeper, XCOM, Syndicate + many more great great games. Very outside the square type games for their time.
XCOM? Anyway, Bullfrog's games always made a great first impression on me, but at some point they became repetitive as hell IMO. I've always been heavily into games that tell stories, have strong characters and create worlds (no pun intended), and that's where Origin at its best excelled.

I can't find out how. My login from the old service is the same, though. I'll let you know if I can find my damn games, though.

@Eva: Everything transfers over. The Origin client is for all intents and purposes the same as EADM, there hasn't been so much as a makeover to the interface apart from the name change. Your games are where they're supposed to be, and your account remains as it is. If you boot up EADM right now, it'll prompt you to download an install the Origin client beta.

Yup, Sulphur's correct. Same here.
Also, this :

On the giggly side, BF3 is exclusive to Origin and won't be on Steam :cheeky:
Yeah, is that why it's being sold on (
http://www.direct2drive.com/10557/product/Buy-Battlefield-3-Download) D2D as well? Don't be silly, of course the most hyped PC game of the year will be sold on Steam, the monopoly digital distribution service. Origin will just get some exclusive extras, like maybe some DLC guns + equipment.

dont be so sure, apparently EA have removed Crysis2 from Steam, its now only available on Origin (plus some other online stores) which would indicate EA are totally going after Steams monopoly.
icemann on 15/6/2011 at 05:59
Woops XCOM was from Microprose. My bad. I stand by what I said about Bullfrog however.

They're already getting exclusive extras, and don't be so sure. It's only logical for smaller companies to work together to topple the monopoly. Why do you think they changed the name? They're trying to bite off part of the market again, and the huge hype for BF3 is precisely the reason why they would make it non-Steam.
