I think I may have created an original emoticon, but given the vastness of the Internet, this doesn't seem likely. I typically run every original poetic line that I write through Google to see if it has been done before, and it is surprising at how many of them have been.
The emoticon in question is a portrayal of the character Hubert Cumberdale from the cartoon
Salad Fingers. It appears thusly:
Naturally, I can't run this through Google the way I can a line of text, so ... can anyone remember if they've ever seen this exact smiley before, or one very close to it (such as having a different number of spaces or plusses, or having small-case O's)?
