Yeah, maybe on the afternoon you're wheeling out the Roswell UFO for its anual wash you could make a bit of cloud cover. But it's hardly a permanent solution, or even a reliable one.

And any country advanced enough to put up its own spy satellites probably isn't exclusively using the visual light spectrum on their cameras, so a bit of clouds won't really help cover up that you're running launch warm up tests in your nuclear silos and whatnot.

There's also the small point that in a country with democratic standards, having a HumInt asset sitting near the docks with a big ol' telephoto lens is a good way of checking if the carriers are at sea or not, too.

Recent news made me think of the Dick Armey "We've chosen W" post on here.
Seems like a similar arrangement is in play in this election. Every non-establishment candidate has been weeded out of the GOP candidate field, with some of them giving rather bizarre excuses as to why they aren't running. Thanks to that, it looks like Obama actually might win re-election.
Intersting bunch, they are. For self-appointed, aristocratic, geniuses they display a truly astounding amount of incompetence.
