One of our kings, Matthias I, according to the folklore, was an accomplished thief - he uncovered a conspiracy against himself while reallocating some of the possessions of his chancellor to the Treasury :cheeky::cheeky:

These are not as good Thieves as most, and they're kinda lame in a lame setting anyway.
Yuffie from FFVII
Rikku from FFX and FFX2
Since I grew up used to Garrett's style, professional skills and intellect, I think all thieves in popular culture that originate from Japan are kind of lame and childish.

Aside from Garrett.... eh?.... How 'bout that thief from... "Hammerite Compendium of Precepts, Regimens and Rules of Conduct, Vol. 2".... Only, he lost his hand to the hammers.... Maybe Felix, he got the nerves to go down into the bonehoard but looks like he's out of luck..... Bah.... Where's Jtr7?

Another in-universe "master thief": Adolpho. He had a good reputation among thieves (as referenced in several notes) but the Bonehoard got him in the end.
