I don't see how that would stop Warner from buying the rights off of Activision/Vivendi some time in the future. They're hardly EA, whom like to sit on their long dead properties.
It wouldn't stop them doing so in the future of course, but there was some speculation that they may have bought NOLF along with FEAR, which appears not to have been the case.
EA was the company which sold both Wasteland and The Bard's Tale to inXile so they can sell their old properties too.

A lot of Emil's Fallout 3 decisions have been... questionable, to say the least.
If anything, following the development of Fallout 3 has made me realise he's not actually that great.
So the game is out. Impressions and reviews are pretty positive! What do you say to that now?

Still the same, as I'm not impressed, and I wasn't that impressed with the Dark Brotherhood quest either.
I think he's a hack with a modicum of talent.
It just so happens, that modicum stands out in an industry that's increasingly bankrupt on the talent front.

As an blatantly professed LGS fanboy since 1999 - I have to say to Emil (and the rest of the team...) that Fallout 3 is an amazing game so far. :thumb:
As like with a lot of us who have messed with the evil Temptress Droomed (and myself nowhere near most of you & nowhere near the skill/success...) - I can't imagine all it took to make this game.
IMO, the level design is amazing and huge, the immersion for the player top notch, the scripting and AI's work flawlessly (so far), the voice acting (love the DJ and 50's music) and interaction with AI's is good and adds to the story, and it's runs/looks great engine wise on max settings.
It's another testimony IMO of how great and influential the folks from LGS are to the gaming business/community and just wanted to testify of that - even though I'm not even through with the game yet. :cheeky:
Awesome - just awesome Emil (and team...) & thanks so much for all you guys did to bring it to us. :D

lol, I just had this horrible mental picture of a bunch of Bethesda employees straining away trying to create Fallout 3 in Dromed, tears of horror and frustration rolling down their ashen faces. :laff:
