I liked the Land of the Dead game...

Supposedly LoTD had aiming spread issues with bullets, but it never really happened to me. Plus I prefer using melee weapons in that game since there's nothing more satisfying than ramming a head with a pipe or chopping some brains out with an axe, so it was a charming game for me.
I hope there's at least one melee weapon in this mod that can break or cut or whatever (figuratively speaking)

I thought the animation worked pretty well when you couldn't see their feet though. Since you're supposed to Aim For The Head it should be mostly ok.
Didn't have a big problem with the trailer either (the guitar in the soundtrack could disappear though :cheeky: ). It's a bit long I guess.
But we do indeed live in the age of Zombies. The sheer number of cheapo zombies movies being made lately is pretty astounding (to say nothing of expensive ones being made at all!)

I wonder if a zombie apocalypse is possible within our lifetime? :D

I got through half of the game, and I really wanted to like it, but the sheer unpredictability of the hit detection made it unplayable. Sometimes I'd aim at the head and kill zeds with one shot with my revolver. Sometimes I'd do the same thing, only it'd take 6-12 rounds and they'd be hitting arms instead of where I was pointing. And for a zombie game of all things you had better damn well make sure that a headshot is counted as a headshot.

I don't remember hit detection being that bad.
Granted I only played it once before the patch came out.

The thing that really got me was the level where you mount that chaingun. The spread of that thing and weird hit detection on the zombies almost put me off it.
That being said, melee combat was satisfying as hell! :ebil:

I only played the Xbox demo and about the 1st 1/4 of the PC game (LotD). Not bad, if it had some extra $ and time for development, it could've been better.
