That's rich, considering you and catfart have been "fagging up" TTLG for years.
That is entirely debateable, you miserable fucking troll.

If I could beat you all round the head to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now, I would.

Well Out Of Hell just got uploaded on a torrent tracker. Check out the site ((
http://outofhell.freeforums.org/out-of-hell-discussion-f10.html) the forums) for the download link.
Got it downloading now, but at my internet speed I'll probably only play it tomorrow and that even if I'm lucky.

So who's played it yet? I went through the first few couple of minutes and I have to say the optimization is truly a bitch so far. It all goes smooth but if 4 zombies get in my view it's screen slideshow galore. Atmosphere is nice, but it's kind of annoying to get so low fps when a couple of zombies jump in.

What are your specs and resolution played, Xenith? Perhaps people can chime in on their specs as well. Chicken,Ribs+Combo (strangely odd name) plays/developed it on a 9600GT which is several years old now. I plan to play this soon, I just have to find a physical copy of UT2K4.
Xenith on 2/11/2009 at 18:11
Well I've got a 9600 GT myself, 2GB RAM and a dual core @ 2.00GH.
The slowdown mostly occurs when enemies come into view. 1 or 2 are ok to deal with, 3 and above just start a slideshow.
I went from high to medium to low and it seems the only difference in flow is when moving in the environment without any enemies around you. However I've had 5 zombies showing with the low -3 setting and the framerate drops like crazy. So it's kind of freaky. Changing resolution didn't seem to help that much either (tried 800x640, 1024x768 and 1280x1024). I don't know how to fix the framerate, besides getting more ram. Still, this is kind of stupid.

Mininova is under maintenance or something, I'm having a hard time locating the torrent. Somebody (the author maybe?) should upload it to a direct download service as well. Maybe that way we can get some seeds going.
