The Widow's reward is her man doesn't come 'round your house and try and kick your arse.
Man that Pagan reward, I tell ya I have never felt so gypped.
Wander around and find all the stupid blocks and cover them with, I dunno what it is, some sort of skirting board, to get a big reward and what do you get? Moss arrows. Oh good, because you know I keep running out of them. ITS NOT LIKE THEY"RE EVERYWHERE OR ANYTHING.

Actually, the Widow's reward is a bottle of wine and a letter thanking you. It's impossible to earn it on Expert, as you HAVE to steal her treasure to get to complete the objectives.
If you steal the Widow Moira's gold, you'll find a note on the bench near Garret's apartment, as well as a surly chap wandering around with a sword he wants to poke into you. The note requests the surly chap stick his sword into you.

Well, I took her treasure and no one came after me. I don't think I did anything else.

The Widow's reward of wine or revenge by Curtis seems to depend on more than whether you take her measly 500G or not. Has it ever been pinned down?

Most often, the surly chap tends to miss you if you go wandering past. He's not very good at his job.

Actually, that's all that decides it. If you steal the gold, you get "punished". That small bag of gold is all that stand between you and a sound... ummm... ignoring by her hired sword.

And yet I, like so many, never got the reward for leaving her inheritance alone.:(
I'll play on Expert my second time through and take the money. It's a good thing Curtis doesn't know how to follow through, I don't want to hurt the Widow any more than I will by taking out one of her only allies.

funny, i've always gotten her reward. i think you have to visit the apartment on a specific day.

And I never had Keepers in the apartment, either.
You know, this thread's in the wrong forum.:o

Really? There's supposed to be an assassin and a keeper after you escape the Keeper compound - where you get the note telling you to go to the alley where Perry is situated so you can find the secret tunnel to Fort Ironwood.
As an aside, I keep getting the guard for Garrett's building fired (although this time I did try to stretch it out). Guess I keep saving his life, because those assassins aren't really discriminatory in their targets. I still wish that the folks that managed to 'fix' the Keeper Assassins would find a place to host their 'patch', because I think it'd be great to have them ignore (and be ignored) by the reset of the populace.

that reminds me: am i the only one who goes out of their way to stealth-kill the assassins manhunt-style while leaving the other keepers (and guards and anyone else with hostile intentions towards garrett) alive?
