Hi people, I had to reinstall thief DS as i want to play (mmos are not RPGs and are driving me insane) but when i try to patch it i keep getting an error
"old file not found, however a file of the same name was found. No update done since the file contents do not match"
basically im ->:weird:
and haven't a clue. I checked the faqs and such but no one else seems to have had this problem =(

I dunno either. Which file is it referring to?

Are you trying to patch the retail cd version of the game or did you purchase and download the game online like from Steam or some other online source? The 1.1 patch I believe will only install on the retail cd version.
