I cannot cross that lava hole in front of the big "daemon" head. The cord isn't solid. There is a hole somewhere in the middle. Invisible hole.
Is there some workaround? Yes, I've tried jumping but you know jumping on the cord under the fireball isn't easy. Is there a place to jump to, anyway?
Please, give me some advice...
P.S. Author doesn't know what horrendous things I thought up to do with the author and umbrella.

You sure there's a hole in the rope? You need to look directly into the monsters eyes at all times, any deviation from almost perfect eye contact results in instant death.
If it is a bug I do know of a possible workaround, let me know and I'll PM you.

Hole in rope isn't bug. It appears, because demon started to shoot fireballs. I believe you can drop on edge of rope, crouch and jump over invisible hole. At least radogoal said in his post (post #22 in this thread) that he managed to succeed that way.

Btw, since it is the last part, I need to confess that although I had an insanily hard time with the Enemy constantly not loading, the thing that really pissed me off, threw me out and had me pissed off almost constantly, is just this friking, awful, out of place, inappropriate and unfitting boogie theme. This is a campaign with well placed and appropriate music everywhere...except for this monstrosity.
(not the song that plays in the bar, that was good... just the intro version, with the moanings and sexually aroused female sounds). It was as if a soft porn movie from the '80s was about to start. :weird:

nightchild, I think you have to play the mission until the very end to understand why it's really an anti-military campaign. Some things are just not what they appear to be.

lol baeuchlein, it was mostly a jock as you are playing an anti military campaign while trying to save your ass from military, bombs, burned towns, blockages, untouchable bots, waves of hidden military manufactured enemies and so on. :cheeky:
