Well, another list... People will always disagree on lists, but that's okay. Just so long as people understand that lists are subjective and that more than anything they are just interesting.;) Game Informer recently did an issue of their mag on the top 200 games of all time. I disagreed with placement and omission of games, etc. but hey that's gonna happen. Was still interesting to see what the staff thought and learn a bit of gaming history.
Oh and hey, if they are gonna mention thief 2, they should mention Thief as well! What gives! :grr:

I have a PC Gamer subscription, and Well, I saw that list, too, and agreed with much of it...I do like to see Thief/Thief II mentioned in those lists. To me it never seemed like the two got their due back in the day, but what the hell...can't change time.
I never could get into PST...tried twice that I recall and never did get very far in it. I won't throw the disc away, and I see it get props frequently, so maybe one day I'll try to reinstall it...
Still have BG1, BG2 (and Throne of Bhaal), as well as ToEE (gave up on it because of all the bugs)... Love the newest Bard's Tale. It should have been on The List as well. Sad to see it omitted.

Rome TW and Fallout 3 in the top 10? BS.
There are so many other fantastic games I can think of off the top of my head that I would rate higher. DOOM, Star Wars KOTOR, Morrowind, Battlefield 1942, The Sims...
Top N lists are always BS.

Severance blade of darkness would be in my top 10 list. Great medieval slicer......does get a bit samey towards the end though

What a horrible list. TF2 is good, but top 10? Really? Fallout and Oblivion, two abortions of RPGs, and no Morrowind, which blows both out of the water. Rome: Total War I can understand, sort of.

But it has Uplink in it, which is a cracking little game.

Yep. And I enjoyed Hopscotch as a kid, quite a lot, though I cheated a bit 'cause I didn't know all the intended game mechanics...:( Great little game, and easily moddable. But compared to Thief, I don't miss it, and yet have nothing against it, except that it's not Thiefy enough.

Hopscotch? What the hell is that?
I'll pop over to abandonia see if they have it.

Personally, I think
Planescape: Torment is a bit overrated.
You can say that again. No offense to any fans of the game, but even as RPGs go... it's no Daggerfall.
