PC Gamer Releases 2009's Top 100 Games Chart

PC Gamer's mostly-annual Top 100 PC Games of All Time has just been updated, with the bare chart positions shown (http://www.pcgamertop100.com/editorial/) here.

Nice to see Deus Ex finally get the leg up to first place.

Edit: I've got 74 of them and I think I've only actually played about 30. Blimey, I've a lot of catching up to do.

Just caught this on RPS. I'd say Deus Ex being the first means everything else is irrelevant, but it's good to see Thief 2, System shock 2 and Torment high up in the list. ArmA2 at 21 is also big thumbs up.

EDIT: Heh, freudian slip - I accidentally wrote "ArmA2 at 21 is also bug thumbs up". :)

Ah good point, Kieron Gillen explains some of the methodology (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/12/17/outcast-not-at-57-scandal-pc-gamer-top-100/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+RockPaperShotgun+%28Rock%2C+Paper%2C+Shotgun%29) here (basically, it was voted on by all of the PC Gamer editorial teams around the world and was not just compiled by the UK staff going down the pub as usual).

And before ZB or someone pisses all over me for spoilering it again this year, I'm doing it so as not to annoy anyone who's waiting to buy a copy of the magazine instead, all right?

Not a bad list, but some curious choices. Why Battle of Britain 2 is even on there (and also ranked above IL-2) is beyond me when Mig Alley and Battle of Britain were better versions of the same game.
