(

PC gamer are doing an elaborate poll and as the internet is filthy,
filthy with Deus Ex and Half Life nerds who know how to swarm, Thief, as usual, really needs a good turn out. Lest we forget.
(oh and you can vote for other games too I guess)

Done but wtf no Red Orchestra, which is a full game now, but there is Alien Swarm?
Also the way series are handled is messed up - some are component others compound.

It is a little chaotic. Apparently you can change your votes before the lock in day and they'll add anything you suggest. I'm holding off until System Shock gets included.

Did you ask them? I'm not that bothered but if you do please ask for RO too :cheeky:

Whats wrong with Half Life boy??!
Muzman on 1/8/2008 at 01:28
It's ok I guess, but it's no Thief.
SubJeff on 1/8/2008 at 06:44
And you vote for your top 10 anyway.

After 30 minutes of some heated dilemmas, I managed to put this together. In cases of series I picked up only one game to leave room for other pearls. Still, 2-3 of my other favourites didn't make it into top ten.

UPDATE: Interesting, Shock 2 made it into top 10 but Fallout didn't...judging by size of their fandom and commercial success, I would expect the opposite.
And it's so not fair to mix MMOs and SPs.

I was disappointed by the lack of Legacy of Kain, that is part of my golden three ultimately favorite games of all time. But here's what I ended up with.
1.Thief II: The Metal Age
2.Thief: Deadly Shadows
3.Thief: The Dark Project
4.Icewind Dale
5.Neverwinter Nights
6.Oblivion
7.Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
8.Guild Wars: Factions
9.Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl
10.Medieval II: Total War
As you can tell I'm abit of a RPG/Fantasy junkie.
