I found in that top 100 a lot of games (some of them more than 15 years old) that I thought of them as being amazing. For some of them I thought they deserved another place in the top but getting in top 100 is still a good thing. Thief reaching top 10 - :thumb: - it proves how cool the game is and also why this community is great. Hope Thief 4 will raise the bar.
I still need to play Deus-Ex and see if it actually deserves that position.
Hmmmm. 6th position goes to Elder scrolls IV... I don't think it is someone who says that Elder Scrolls IV was better than Elder scrolls III.

I'm surprised to see Thief 2 at #9 when it shares company with such games as Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Rome Total War. While I was entertained by Fallout 3 and Oblivion, I would hardly call them stellar and truly groundbreaking games worthy of being in the top 10. And Rome Total War was okay, but #5?

I'm glad to see T2 in there, but why isn't TDP in the Top 100? Bizarre. At least SS2 is #16.

I looked too Yandros, through that whole list to find either DP or gold, neither to be found. I'm glad T2 made in the top 10. Still is amazing after all these years how a stupid game can change your life, friends you meet, etc. Wouldn't have it any other way.

It was probably only written like that because that's what the writer expected the audience wanted to hear about the graphics. It's like when people excuse themselves for being 'pretentious' instead of just not being pretentious.

Or the fact that most people who read that list have probably played Half-Life, so they know what it looks like. Thief however, is less known so it probably got a few "What the hell is this game" comments.
