I would say Overture is by far the best in the series. Black Plague starts extremely well but the puzzles degenerate quickly and Red >>>>> that obnoxious idiot in Black Plague. Overall Black Plague is still good though and the 242 is right about Requiem. It's not really part of the 'series' as it were, it just more puzzling in the same types of environments.

You do know that there were going to be three episodes and after the release of the first game, the company they hired to sell the first episode disappeared with all the money, so there was no money to make the next two episodes, so they cobbled together what they had of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd episodes and released that as the second game.

Where did you get your information? I thought that after the first company screwed with them they just hired Paradox Interactive and started work on part 2, but had to drop three. Instead, they came up with an "expansion pack" (requiem.)

I was wondering about that. Up til now, all I've heard about Frictionals next game was that it was gonna follow the themes set in Penumbra, and take place in an old castle. Now I've got something solid to look forward to.
It strikes me as a sort of Horror Ico. And that...that is so very awesome.

Apparently $5 is £4.50....... another reason steam can go top itself.
5 U.S. dollars = 3.12265801 British pounds
3.12265801 * 1.15 = 3.59105671
so approx £3.59
Okay, only £1 difference, but bear in mind the price is extremely low to start with - with normal priced things it's just ridiculous.
Game itself from what I played of overture is very nice though. Is it possible to rotate objects in your hands? It unfortunately didn't seem so but I could have just missed something.

Ugh, I knew it! I paid full price for the collection only a few months ago, and have hardly played it yet. Ah well, hindsight 'n all...

Not in
