Open the airlock they way you would open it in real life...

Grab the wheel and turn it.

I tried this some time ago and I really enjoyed it until I saw the first monster.
The atmosphere and look of it is great, I didn't know what to expect (since I hadn't seen screenshots that included monsters) so the sound and atmosphere of the game really gave me chills down my spine. I kept thinking that something would happen and when nothing did, I started thinking that they didn't actually include monsters.
The moment I encountered the first monster was quite scary too, until it started moving towards me. It moved slow and made stupid noises that weren't scary at all. Quite a let down.
Maybe it's because it's a tech demo that they didn't invest lots of time in the models/AI for the enemies. If I could suggest something to improve, then I would certainly suggest improving the look and "feel" of the enemies. Make them creepier and faster moving.

Omega, you should play the new demo.

Stills seems to have the same shitty flying monsters that turned me off. :erg:
Is there more to see?

...
Are you sure you're playing the Penumbra Overture demo?

I've tried grabbing the airlock wheel and turning it but nothing happens.
The version I downloaded is 115Mb. Is that the Tech Demo or the real Demo?
Thanks

If you're playing the demo with the snowy part, then you've got the real one. You have to pull the airlock door open after you turn the wheel.
I just went through the new demo. It was a little short but still fairly good. The hammer is clumsy, but object interaction seems a bit better. Not convinced this is worth $20, especially since the demo ends when things start to possibly get interesting.

Is there a reason why I can't interact with the keypad in the first freakin' room? Or am I supposed to yell 1993 at it?

All I know is that the game ends right after when the dog attacks me. I found no dynamite and it was very short.
Still I enjoyed it.

There is no keypad, it's a friggin old bunker! You're suppose to stick a metal rod in it and turn the thing.
