has anybody else noticed how thief is practically scripted after "people under the stairs"? i mean there are the murderous fanatical guards, prisoners, sneaking around an old mansion, zombies and gold in the basement, etc. "people under the stairs" is a 1991 movie directed by Wes Craven after he left the nightmare franchise. watch it.

I like it when the guy puts the bayonet in the wall and screams: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTCHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
That's kind of like when Constantine takes Garret's eye. So I vote yes.

Well, the gold coins stuck in the candlesticks were sort of like a noise arrow. Would Garret represent the kid who lived in the wall and was rarely seen, or the kid from the outside world who tricked the bad guys?
Bottom line, I'd vote NO if it were one of the options.

I want the time I spent watching that movie back. If anything, it was an amazing display of how much shit Wes Craven could smear on a film real and still have it play.
That said, I see no similairities, and never once during my watching of that crime against humanity did I ever think to myself "Wow, this reminds me of Thief!".

Its nice to know that the majority of TTLG denizens who voted went for the most mature option available.

you forgot the "what the hell?", "i like pie" and "what relevance?" options...
