Sorry if this has been covered already, but a searching was too watered down. Is there a way to get loot percent so far in mission like in Thief 3? It would be nice to see it among the loot summery in the inventory.
Even if possible, I am not sure I will do it. I kind of like the surprise at the mission stats, but what is your opinion?

NVScript can to arithmetic with qvars, so a button could be pressed to put text on screen (NVScript also has a text and qvar display script) while calculating the percentage. But there's one qvar that doesn't get counted until the mission ends. I don't know which qvar it is, but it might be current loot. Of course the game is tracking loot all the time, so maybe I'm getting it mixed up with something, but I do have this niggling feeling about it.
I do think it takes away a bit of surprise, and if you leave the system alone, players can still check their progress by ending the mission prematurely and checking the stats screen.

One way you could do this, but it's a bit of work.
Rename your "gold", "gems" and "goods" categories to "found", "missing", and... uhh.. "spent" if you have an ingame shop, otherwise I don't know?
Manually count up all of the loot in your mission and have the player start with that much in Gems.
Change every other piece of loot in the mission to be worth +x gold -x gems (e.g. a bottle of fine wine is worth +50 gold, -50 gems, 0 goods.)
Now, the player will always have an item in inventory that displays how much loot they are missing, and every time they pick something up, the value will be added to the "found" section and subtracted from the "missing" section, while the total will always stay the same.
It's probably more trouble than it's worth.
