I guess Peter Molyneux' reputation as someone who overpromises but underdelivers is pretty well known around here, but I kinda liked the guy regardless. The games of his I played may not have had all the features in them that had been advertised, but they still managed to be incredibly fun. Plus, it's good to see a guy with some ambition, as opposed to doing the same old.

I actually really dig this idea. i know people will bag on it since "hurr durr peter" and "obviously a money grab" but if you get over that... it IS an interesting experiment.

Although, honestly, I bet the diamond pickaxe will be purchased within the first day. If huge indie bundle donations and crazy kickstarter projects are any indication, people of the internet are ready to fund any venture if its ridiculous enough.
