Yeah, those are more or less my thoughts too. It's easy to call alcohol The Big Evil because it's so available, yet I know through my own drug experiences (more or less everything bar heroin, meth & crack) that alcohol is a lot more manageable (to a non addictive personality like myself) than the others. I never had any problem stopping cocaine once I realised that it was a bit too habitual and bad for the health (haemolytic? Fuck THAT), whereas I feel perfectly able to keep drinking recreationally without it ever becoming a problem. I do wonder what would happen if everything was legal though. My guess is that most people would be like me - try everything for a bit while it's fun, then stick to the practical stuff.

Yeah, that's the go to assumption for an under-age MI I'm told. Amphetamine is just as bad in the heart-rending sense though. I have friends who do it every week. I had a fleeting dalliance one summer. These days, I just drink.

Obviously acid is best. You just want someone who likes the universe and you in it with you. Someone who is truely kind of heart. Someone imaginative and maybe a little wicked who will challenge your view of things. Someone you can laugh with. No addiction. Just fun. It's the only thing worth it. Heroin has hooks, obvious sharp and scary, but dulled in a camouflage of blissfull haze when on it. Acid has everything that is and a few that isn't but no hooks. You just need a buddy to ponder and laugh with, somebody who loves you and understands when you say there is a pterodactyl beating it's wings above you and squonking like a thing you have never heard before, somebody who hears the same thing and keeps saying "what the hell is that" with the same wonder and amused horror that you feel.
