The fairly recent
Pure Pinball looked quite decent from the demo, but I don't have the full version so I can't comment more.
Well this just appeared on GOG.com (in some kind of "version 2" incarnation) for US$6!
I've nabbed myself a copy. Will have a play tonight, hopefully, and then post some impressions here :)

(
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuADFpd81G4&feature=related) Devil's Crush (youtube) is
by far my favorite pinball game. It's for the Turbo Grafx 16, so you'll need an (
http://www.ouma.jp/ootake/) emulator or a wii if you don't have one.
There's also its prequel Alien Crush, which was good but I didn't like as much, but I heard they remade it for the wii or something so who knows?
And yeah, I used to play a lot of Epic Pinball- the android stage was by far my favorite.

Epic Pinball by Epic Megagames was an epic experience.

I never really played computer pinball games from the old days.
But these days I like (
http://www.futurepinball.com/) Future Pinball, sort of the Darkmod for pinball games ... it's a development kit on an open engine, and there have been a bunch of boards contributed.

When it comes to pinball on the PC, it's all about Visual Pinball + Visual PinMAME. You can't beat being able to play faithful recreations of the classic Williams/Bally tables.

Thanks guys. For some reason I thought those were already mentioned, but I was merging this with other threads in my mind :)

Seconded. I owned a TG-16 and it was amazing. The music is incredible. It is very DooM-ish in it's setting. Alien Crush had a screen change the was annoying DC fixed this w/a scrolling screen.

Codemasters' Advanced Pinball Simulator on the Spectrum was great fun.
Also, like everyone else on this thread, I'm a big fan of all Digital Illusions' pinball games

Psycho Pinball is my all time favorite of all the ones I've played, followed by Pinball Fantasies (I still play the intro music from time to time). Pinball Dreams and Pinball Mania were also pretty good. Epic Pinball was decent but not all of the tables were as well-designed as in the other games I mentioned, some ramps or targets were almost impossible to hit.
