Play this in a Hammer temple

Hi.

I found this on Youtube:

It's basically a recording of a Latin chant/incantation. It sounds absolutely haunting, and I think it would fit perfectly in a Hammerite temple. I think someone should use it in an FM.

I just wonder where it comes from; was too lazy to ask Google... If it's not some modern fantasy crap, I thought of medieval or later Jewish mysticism or maybe one of those secret societies and their artificial rituals.

That one's really nice, but I like darker, more guttural chants personally

Very nice. I find it a little slow and irregular (more like an incantation than a song...), but it's definitely got all the right atmosphere.

daniel - I actually sung that very song for honour choir. I wouldn't have used it for Hammerites though - not sinister enough.

Personally, I don't like it much, it's too deep and guttural. I like the Gregorian that daniel posted better, but agree it's not suited to a Hammer mission either.

Yeah, it'd be nice if the Gregorian chanting was a bit deeper. I just feel like the first one was too deep and a bit too slow.

Would pitch-shifting give a desirable effect? The chants in TDP/Gold sound processed.
