Calendra's Cistern - just one word.. Impressive! This is heavy weight category. It is like a whole little game in just one mission.
Also, i didn't know that some FM authors worked on Dishonored series. Fanboy-berserk mode ON! :)) I am so glad for them! Way to go, people!
Order of the Vine - very good mansion heist, with a Pagan twist. There is even small intro and outro mission, and nice use of marble, with just enough carpets and stone floors for sneaking through main mansion mission. Even Victoria has short appearance. Slightly tangled layout.
Seeds of Doubt - great mood, killer in city district + Hammerite temple. there is even dead body nailed to the ceiling (with swords and daggers)! Short and somewhat linear, but i had great fun!

Apache's Mission Pack 1 - Ramirez's Revenge - great verticality, nice story, mix of Hammerite temple/a bit of vertical catacombs + huge cavern + tower with some undead
Apache's Mission Pack 2 - Stowaway - small and sweet, part Hammerite church, part cargo ship (with burricks below the deck!)
Apache's Mission Pack 3 - Hunt for Montrose - undead blasting fun! there is even a small 'elemental' tower with 4 talismans. bunch of undead and bunch of spiders. very enjoyable.
Apache's Mission Pack 4 - The Keep - awesome stuff! excellent mission! whole campaign of Apache's Mission Pack is great, and with each mission it was just getting better. a lot of stuff to do and final descent was great!

Mandragora, you may want to register on (
https://www.thiefguild.com/) Thief Guild and rate all these missions. I love early era FMs, they might be simple in terms of design or gameplay, but they are undoubtedly very atmospheric.

Well, i 'harvested' almost all the FMs i got either from (
https://www.thiefguild.com/) Thief Guild or (
https://www.thiefmissions.com/) Thief Missions.
I will definitely register and rate, but since i very much respect the effort of people who worked on FMs, i think i will just give out 9's or 10's left and right :)
If you are involved with Thief Guild site, you are doing a great job!
I browse and download one mission, but then it just spirals into checking and downloading around other 10 FMs also :) just this one.. and this one.. oh, look at that one.. and this one..
And the list is getting pretty long :)
When people say that early era FMs are simple, i can't wait to see how new era FMs look and play like, since for me, early era missions are, so far, excellent.
Not to mention that i am eagerly waiting for The Black Parade and Broken Goddess campaigns! Both look a-w-e-s-o-m-e!

This thread makes me nostalgic. So many good FMs already listed. I have been playing Thief since 1999, and it is good to see other folks still playing and making FMs in 2022. Thief TDP and T2 have been my favorites among the video games that I have ever played. I still play the original games and the FMs at times. Immersive atmosphere and excellent gameplay - I will never forget the first few times I played. I like seeing this "FMs in 2022" post.

Nostalgic is ok, but there is in fact bright (by that, i mean dark and shadowy) future for Thief fan.
From where i stand, it looks like there is infinite amount of missions and campaigns to be played. and it seems they just keep on coming. ou-hou-hou! :)
Yes, there is nothing like the cosy embrace of pixelated Thief shadows and some guarded place to infiltrate and skulk around, only to find there's the sinister tunnels beneath it and dark mysteries hidden in it's walls.

Sepulchre of the Sinistral - this is like 3 mature Bonehoards had a week of orgies and spawned about 66 fat little demons! Journey to the center of darkness and back. Nightmarish delight! Great stuff!

In that case, don't you mean bonerhoards?

3 Bonerhoards enter the Cragscleft shower..
That sounds like the beginning of rom-com :)

Hello folks!
I started to go through the T1 and T2 FMs not long ago!
The amount of missions is fascinating and very enticing!
I decided to keep a small journal here, which i hope to update as i play.
I started with first one on the list with 'release date 1999', and so far..
Revenge of Garrett - cool city sneaking, only wish more locks were pickable from the start.
Bloodstone Prison - excellent undead mission. classic.
The Library - awesome taffin' in hammerite towers.
Hard Luck - pure mansion thievery, love it.
Death of Garrett - little bit of tunneling, little bit of mansioning, little bit of revenge. good stuff!
Mages Area - mages love their crazy architectural layouts :) fun stuff! glitched on quicksave.
Events in Highrock - excellent classic! journey from city streets to the deep dark castle! some interactions (item/object) were not that intuitive.
Lord Edmund entertains 1 - awesome little mission! bit of city, bit of mansion, bit of dark secret.
Well, to be continued..
Most of those I only played recently aswell, because of the polls currently on-going :cheeky:
