I try to use the least amount of water arrows as possible, exept for the iron beasts. They deserve it.

iron beasts...they are 2d creatures...dumber & dangerous...they can stuck even on an open highway!!

It seems every time I try to ghost, I'll come up against a small group of guards around whom it's just plain impossible to sneak! I've even tried alternate routes, which usually turn out to be dead ends because the guards are, of course, precisely where I need to be headed. So, I inevitabley end up blackjacking them. There have been other instances where I just couldn't resist using the blackjack on someone, even if I didn't have to. :ebil:
I've only used the sword as an ultimate last resort, though. I agree that the swordplay in the Thief games is not the best. Not to mention the noise the guards, etc., make when you hack them to death.

I like to think that Garret is too arrogant to ghost -- he's so good he wants them to know he was there. I ghost sometimes, but prefer the convenience of not having to sneak through the same area twice.
