I've only been playing it a week, and already the signs of addiction are showing...
I was walking through my 'real world' neighbourhood today, lamenting the lack of wood used in exterior building construction. Then I got really excited when I saw a wooden porch on ONE house. "Yes! I can stick a rope arrow into that!"

:D Yep, I'm sure it has! I noticed that thread the moment after I posted this message. Since then, it's been causing me much amusement.

Thief can be a lifestyle, good to see someone hooked! Out of curiosity I must ask, which one are you playing?

I'm starting in the right place, with
Thief Gold. I've had the game sitting on my shelf for years - Don't know why, seeing as I
LOVE System Shock and
Deus Ex!

splendid! I never played gold, by the time I got it I didn't have a computer to run it, but apparently it's even better than The Dark Project. Remember for when you get done there are always the FM's to keep you busy.

Yep, not to mention Thief 2 (and maybe 3, depending...) :cheeky:

Despite what some extremists think, Thief 3 is definitely worth playing. Maybe not with the same ferver as the first two, but definitely worth it. Ohhh the cradel...
