After all these years, we still love Thief DS and consider it the best title we own of hundreds .... While camping on an island last week, my wife and I found some old turn of the century ruins of an old logging camp .. Stone, Metal, Cogs and Gears .... so we decided to goof around and make a couple scenes ... just goofing around that's all.

(Now that we're back from camping, we re-installed, and are playing again for the 20th time through ... 1920 x 1200 - all graphics cranked)

Fun vid, you know if someone had the right location-some game accurate costuming and a good story, some really cool fan videos could be made, I always thought an FM intro video using live acting done right would be a real treat!

I think your video is fun, and I thank you for sharing- I was looking forward to seeing the ruins you described, though. I hope you've got more footage with that stuff in it, too.

Thanks! ... not bad for just goofing around using what we could find while camping on an island .. imagine what we could do if we tried .... we're all ready thinking about getting permission to use the old library here in town after hours ... We've worked out a story of sorts, and are looking for costumes .... She's going to be GirlGarrett, GirlWoodsie and Marla and I'll be GuyGarrett, Thomas, dumb and drunk Guards and Woodsie ... and in the fall, we're going to totally goof around with locations and props ... just for fun .... anyone who wants to be in it can come up to Maine ....

We only have pics during the day ... we thought of the video idea the night before we left the island ..... but we're going back in October .... Farm Island on Moosehead Lake, Maine ... Turn of the century logging camp ruins ... big operation back in the day .... they would lay down railroad tracks across the ice as it was quicker to haul the wood then go all the way around. Farm Island was/is the 1/2 way point across a 44 mile long lake. Farm Island 1/2 way point base camp ruins ..... This ws just a test sample ... now that we know we can do it, we're going to do a little more prep work for a real thiefy vid! . laterz .. Darrin
