I DL'ed the demo, but my laptop is giving me the "Windows NT" garbage for it. I can't remember the override, something like LGNTforce *drivename*? Since the installer is in a zip file, what drivename do I use, or what do I do to get the thing to work? PLEASE ASSIST!

Dude! The FAQ!

... in RED at the top of the forum.
Psssst! Don't feel bad, Peanuckle; I missed it too and had to be reminded to check the FAQs after I started a thread with the same question. ;)

That file looks too small. I think the correct link is (
http://thiefmissions.com/demos/thief2demo.exe) http://thiefmissions.com/demos/thief2demo.exe (131 MB).
By the way, there seem to be a few minor bugs in the packaging: if I clear the Windows directory for temporary files, it stops working, and some of the Thief I character meshes are the low detail version. There is also the well known rope arrow bug, of course. But this demo is great, otherwise, and worth downloading.

You're right, Istvan; I downloaded the 54mb file and it turned out to be the TDP demo. Just finished downloading the demo for TMA.

And I thought I was going mad. Anyway, the TDP demo caused TDP to crash so I'm glad there's a TMA version.

Dude! The FAQ!
Sorry bout that. Now I just have to hide from all the mean people. (gets out his anti-ZB suit.)
