Yes, that was often the case with ps2 versions of pc games - they were released one or two years after the pc versions and had some extras. I just scored a new sealed ps2 version of The Operative on ebay for only 10 usd and I read it has some small extra missions. The extra racing tournaments in Mafia on ps2 are nothing special, most of them are not as good as the story race, but they are still very nice if you love Mafia.
