Too many social features for my tastes, but the final specs sound very interesting.

I hear when you buy a PS4 you get a personal SS Gruppenführer assigned to you who pops a luger slug into your forehead if you don't use the social features. every. single. day.
Twice.
This new game by the Braid creator, The Witness, looks luverly.

I don't think it's a matter of them making it difficult
on purpose, but more that the Cell ...
Actually "we made it hard on purpose to extend shelf life" was what they said; iirc there was a quote from one of the high ups who pretty much said that. Tho I always thought it was just a bs explanation for why the ps3 is hard to code for and the exotic ness of the processor (combined with shitty tools and documentation) were the real reason like you said

Chances are it'll run linux under the hood - mark my words :)

All of those puzzles in The Witness trailer looked retardedly simple. So even an "indie auteur" douchebag like Jonathan Blow decided to dumb down his games for the mainstream? Heh.

You're an idiot and you prove it almost every time you post.
What the hell happened? When did you you get so... stupid?

Current rumor is that the PS4 is going to require internet activation for games.
And on a semi-related note, its also rumored that the new Xbox will require an always on internet connection to work. If that one turns out to be true it will tilt the odds massively in Sony's favor
