And DC Universe.

Of course there weren't always just 15 people playing them. But it doesn't matter because Sony wouldn't keep its customers' information for like 5 or more years, right?
Right?
...guys?

I tried out SWG two Christmases ago when it was in the Steam sale, plus I also signed up for DC Online (didn't actually pay for any extra months, but you had to give your card info anyway). It is entirely possible that my info has therefore been stolen. Bastards.

In a press release, SOE also stated that outdated credit cards from non-US customers may be at risk:
"Customers outside the United States should be advised that we further discovered evidence that information from an outdated database from 2007 containing approximately 12,700 non-US customer credit or debit card numbers and expiration dates (but not credit card security codes) and about 10,700 direct debit records listing bank account numbers of certain customers in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Spain may have also been obtained.
"We will be notifying each of those customers promptly. There is no evidence that our main credit card database was compromised. It is in a completely separate and secured environment."

Who knows how far the accounts in that database date back. To state the obvious, they shouldn't have had an inadequately protected, older database still operational. All data should've been in the main database, regardless of its age or inactivity of an account.

So, I ask AGAIN, wtf is qriosity?
Oh, and I am relieved I didn't get a PS3 when I went console shopping last month...I already had my steam acct. compromised, once was enough thank you very much. Thankfully, they never succeeded in getting anything outta my charge card due to the diligence of MasterCard.

Qriosity from what I understand (and can try to remember from when I checked it out) is a media system for PS3. You can listen to music from it, there's some sort of radio on it, and you can watch movies from it, IIRC.

So it's just media content delivery? Hmm. Thanks.

I think it's the latest in their increasingly-laughable attempts to beat Spotify and the like at their own (poorly-paying) game.
