I play fanmissions from Thief Gold on darkloader and have already played a couple of great Fan missions. This problem apllies to some fanmissions, while I can play others without problem.
My problem is, that when I load up specific missions on darkloader, another mission will play, when I click start mission. When I play for instance, autumn in lampfire hills, then the map of the downwind thieves guild will show up. At first, I thaught the author copied the map, but when I looked at videos, I saw that I was not playing the mission I wanted.
On the technical FAQ, when this happens, you are supposed to reinstall the original game, and then delete particular folders in the thief main directory. However, that didnt help and when I sarted up and clicked on "new game", I could still see the FM i just deinstalled.
This leads me to believe that my game is not properly cleaning up its files and when I try a new FM, it will sometimes jump to a mission I didnt want to play.
This means, that Im missing a lot of cool FM's that I want to play and I couldnt find any help on the Internet. I would be very grateful If you would suggest what I should do to get It working again.

I know what you mean. Had the same problems sometimes. I'm sorry to say that I can't help you out here. I wish that a could, but now the issue is upwarded, perhaps someone else can be of help! Luck to you :thumb:

You should use the FM loader that comes with New Dark (FMSel), that should eliminate these types of problems just because of the way it installs missions and the files within.

Great! It is working as it should! Hell yeah! Now I can finally enjoy taffing around in all the cool FMs. Thank you very much!
I only wonder about one thing:
When I'll play the original game, TG I still see a FM installed, when there isnt. Will the game make a new game when I complete the training?
