Can anyone tell me what I have to do in order to run thief 3 from a remote DVD drine on my network?

I installed it from the remote Drive in this case Y.

However when I try to run the Program it tells me to insert a Disk into the Drive.

I dont have a DVd drive on the PC i want to run it on so I installed it using the DVD over the network..

Is there a way to set the default path to use the network drive Y instead of d: or e: on my PC?

Can you map the drive and do it from there?

Ive mapeed the Y drive which is the D drive on another networked PC...
Ive installed it to my C drive fronm across the network
I can run the Autorun and setup from the Y drive np and install it to my harddrive

My problem is when I try to run the desktop shortcut or run the game from the autorun button...
It says there is no Disk in the drive

Is there anyway to change the default configuration file to point at the network drive instead of my local CD drive?
I dont have a DVD drive locally thats my problem -- but I have one upstairs in my parents room and that is the one I am trying to use

tks that helped and it works now but if anyone knows how to get this to work by actually using the remote drive instead of a crack id appreciate the enlightenment :)
