Well, I've had a bit of a look but I'm not entirely sure what it is I'm supposed to do?
On Reddit every post has up arrows for positive votes and down arrows for negative votes. The more positive votes something has, the more visible it is. If TDM fans would "up-vote" threads or posts at The Dark Mod's sub-reddit, it would raise visibility for the mod there.
Thanks again.

Logged in to ModDB and voted :)
But I'll never get the sense of this "reddit" thing. It looks horrible designed and I don't know if there are many people using this piece of ..whit.

Yes, it may be a bit more cumbersome (and the community is a bit weird since the who 4chan-ification of all the social media sites)
but they have a HUGE user population.
The good thing about Reddit is that trolls that are down-voted in the comment sections of a submission end-up being hidden
in a closed tree (which you can expand if you wish) and this keeps noisy troll-filled threads under control so you don't have to
scroll past tons of useless comments.
The strange thing is reddit users (more often than not) will up-vote troll comments because they find them amusing thus
reversing the intended use of the site...
If you know a community that would be likely to have Thief or Dark Mod fans (or potential fans) please mention the Moddb
voting there.
Thanks.

Thanks Thiefessa!
It looks like the Moddb crew are helping us here too :)

I think TDM serves as a good talking-point for Moddb. Doom 3 BFG Edition removed mod support from what has become arguably one of the most modded games of the last game generation.
Don't like the flashlight mechanic?
Ducktape mod.
Don't like the graphics?
HUNDREDS of shader enhancement mods culminating with Sikkmod (soft shadows, SSAO, HDR, etc).
Want to play "old school" style Doom with Doom 3 graphics?
Classic Doom 3 mod.
Technical feats like re-enabling Megatexture support, changing the light renderer to use cubemaps, SSAO, motion-blur, LOD, procedural content distribution, etc were all done BEFORE the source code was made available.
Major total conversion projects like:
Hexen: Edge of Chaos
Arx: End of the Sun (upcoming)
Ruiner
Grimm
Into Cerebron ("Descent" style space shoot total conversion)
Shambler's Castle (Quake remake map with whole new monster assets and play mechanic)
and of course
The Dark Mod
All this serves to prove why it was wrong to remove mod support from BFG edition.
I'll grant that the release of BFG source code will eventually restore modding support (as someone has already integrated the old radiant mapping tools into it). Still, it's a good talking point and Moddb would be wise to be outspoken about it to highlight their primary claim to notability.

I didn't know there was an Arx Fatalis prequel mod for Doom 3. Arx is one of my favorite games so I'm pretty interested now. By the way if some of you play the original Quake, Sock is working on a stealth mod called In The Shadows and it looks absolutely amazing: (

You can try the demo if you're interested.
