Thank you. Thank you so much for refuting this. For a moment there I was scared, nay, TERRIFIED that this might happen. aaahhh.

Another thing to point out is that the guy who said making Deus Ex 3 and the "modernised" setting of Thief doesn't work at Eidos anymore. So new management equals different ideas, so Thief 4 may not be made after all. Are we all happy now? ;)

will never ever be made because Eidos doesn't give a shit about the series, due to the fact that Garrett doesn't have large breasts and a British accent that make the company lots of money. Are we all happy now? ;)
Fixed it.

The very idea of it offends me. Of course, taking it into the modern day would allow them to make an even more dumbed down game [no bow, which would be too complex for a console clearly] and make it even more like spinter cell than they had with Thief 3. Maybe they could even call their character Sam Garrett...

Haha, that's funny because the analogue triggers on the X-Box made the bow's pull-back more precise then it ever was on mouse+keyboard. So, in a way, it's more like the bow is too complex for PC and you're a dumbass for hating on shit you clearly have no clue about. LOL

Aside from the fact obvious sarcasm is clearly lost on you, that isn't really the case as I never had any problems being precise with the bow in any of the thief games. On the other hand, aiming the bow on a console is considerably less precise and somewhat more difficult. Not impossible of course, but much more difficult than what I can do especially with the large amount of practice I've had from both Thief and Thief 2, which were never present on a console btw [just to remind you].

Yeah, work on figuring out complex things like "Sarcasm" for the future, it might help make you not look daft in future.
Edit2: Just to clarify, my 'sarcasm' is meant to suggest you CAN clearly use a bow on a console and there is no need to 'dumb it down'. In fact, I don't think there is any reason to dumb the game down for a console at all, but that was a decision that was taken by Ion with both Deus Ex: IW and Thief 3 to 'mass market' the game better. Obviously both were respective failures in trying to do this and felt a deserved backlash.

:: phew :: thank god this shit prolly ISNT true in any way, shape, or form... though i WOULD like to see a Thief 4, just not modernized. :tsktsk: Garrett with a silenced SMG? I dont friggin think so, Eidos. Ill kill you all before i let that happen to the God of Thieves. but a larger, more complex version of Thief would be a nice thing to have. I think what Eidos should do in relation to Thief is just release an addon for Thief 3 that makes it suck less. Kinda like an expansion pack. " "If Blizzard can do it, so can we" -- Eidos' Reason for making a Thief 3 Expansion. " :laff: which brings up another T.O.T thing i have been infuriated with in relation to Diablo. why, when they decided to make Diablo II, did they replace Asmodan with Mephisto as the eldest, besides, i think Sin (Asmodan) is a greater evil than Hatred (Mephistyyoulongtime), wouldnt you guys agree? and if you dont think there was an Asmodan, look in one of the books in Diablo 1, its there, i remember it, and it mentions Asmodan, Lord of Sin being the eldest and most awesome.

I like how anyone can simply shout "I was being sarcastic, stupid!" these days when confronted on idiotic shit they spout. Sarcasm relies on wit AND letting people know you think the opposite of what you're saying. There's nothing in your first post to suggest you don't hate consoles after all. And where is the wit?
Oh wait, is this it?
HO HO HO CUTTING BARB THERE BUDDY!
