I Put the ko body on a bed.
I do the same thing. I suppose it's partly altruistic (if you can be altruistic to someone you just bonked on the head) and partly cause I don't want to be stumbling over them on the floor - lol.

Here's some of the things I occasionally do:
1. see how many times I can blackjack someone before they hit the floor and become frobable. I think you can hit someone 4 or even 5 times.
3. Dropping blackjacked enemies from great heights and hearing them vocalise when they hit the ground (do they wake up, scream then die?).
I do these too. I also enjoy making one room completely pitch black, then riling up every guard one at a time enough to chase me into said room - strafe around him while avoiding his sword swings and
KABONG!! Blackjacked and knocked out. It makes me laugh that all it takes is darkness for a guard to become completely blackjackable again even if he's swinging at you.

I think the whole idea would be that a guard would stumble across it, but realize that he was only sleeping, then continue on his way to the kitchen for table scraps.
Yet, such ai will never be seen in the dark engine.

Oh wow, I didn't know this.... Personally though, I don't like the sound of that, seems like a sort of cheat and also unrealistic (yes I know, thief isn't "realistic" but all the same...)

It's quite rare when you have to enter digital access code in Thief.
But when I stumble upon an access panel and if I still haven't found access code to it I'll try to enter random digits anyway just to try my luck.
It never worked though. :nono:

I usually make sure to be the last living being in the map, everyone I see needs to get either knocked out or killed. I just hate to be disrupted while looting my new jewels. Yes ghosting is not my way of playing.
I read everything readable and try to hear every conversation. I guess I' m more a spy then a thief *cry*
I also like the big calibres, yes i can pick the lock of the door, but I have to admit just bashing it in is usually more my way.
Groups of guards are my most loved thing... Anone knows those patrols right before the bank? I sometimes set up minetraps, try the, run-behind-and-rapid-bludgeoning-them or the old good draw your sword and fight it out. Its something to be proud to win against 5 guards in swordcombat on expert! Sadly if I kill one I can'T carry on with the mission.

Sometimes when I'm bored enough, I'll pick up pointless objects such as bottles, goblets, plates, spectacles or whatever and then throw them into inaccessible places, or into fires, or out of windows, or otherwise hide them from their owners by throwing them behind furniture or into crawlspaces. I just like the idea of someone waking up in the morning to find their house stripped of absolutely everything including the useless shit that no thief would ever want.

:laff::laff: And could that have anything to do with your username? :sly:
Kenzie on 16/2/2009 at 22:05
lol :laff: I guess you could tell a lot about my playstyle by looking at my username. Of course in addition to hiding all of the useless shit I find, I must shatter all the windows, slash all the banners, smash all of the crates as well as dump all of the unconscious bodies into places that they can't get out of when they wake up.
