How do you make/find poison apples? I've got to knock off a few vampire hunters in Skingaard but everytime I try to slay them the guards get me. I thought i'd slip them a posion apple.
Or, if anyone has done this quest, let me know what you did.

join the dark brotherhood and you can buy them.

If that's the quest I think it is you can convince the vampire hunters to just leave town.

You can't always convince them depending on the order you do things. I think the first time I did this one I went and wiped out the vampires myself before the vampire hunters got there. After that it was impossible to convince them to leave or prove I killed the vampires in any way. This was before I joined the DB so, since I still had a high regard for the sanctity of life I was reluctant to kill them. I redid the quest in a slightly different order where they helped me kill the vampires and then they left willingly.

Just take the vampire dust from one of the corpses and show it to them.

It was never a dialog option for me, even though I had the dust in my inventory. I seriously had to do it all over again before it all worked. I'm just saying this particular quest can be a little delicate as far as getting the hunters to leave.

If you have access to the spell maker, you could try making a level 25 Rage spell (or buy the level 18 Rage from... Bravil I think). Then cast it on each one so they'll attack you/guards.

Why limit yourself? Cast max frenzy 100 ft radius, after scattering daedric weapons everywhere (so the guards don't have an "unfair advantage"):ebil:

True. It would make a great video if you can get enough people in one place.

I regret to report that Elidor and his team of dedicated vampire hunters perished this morning during a fierce battle with a nest of vampires.
(And I only feel slightly guilty for not helping out.)
